DATA animates what has been lost, found and shared.
Trauma and loss are explored using thrift store impulse buys and old social media posts. Totally improvised, the present moment is linked with the unconscious past and the uncertain future of temporarily assembled parts. The composition and execution unfold simultaneously in a performance that is captured and released as a non-fungible token. The resulting work is free to take root and create value or be lost forever in a bottomless digital ocean. All objects were found in a Union City thrift store between December of 2019 to March of 2020. Photographed as found during lockdown using an I-Phone 11 MAX PRO with minimal staging and post production. NFTs includes high resolution .gif animations, original photographs, staged objects and signed museum quality digital prints where specified.
