STAGE THRIFT explores communicability through what we share, discard and recycle. All objects were found in one local thrift store from the beginning of 2020 to the end of the summer of that same year, photographed as found using an i-Phone 11 MAX PRO with minimal staging and post production.

Totally improvised and executed within minutes of conception, multiple moments of inspiration are linked with the unknown past and uncertain future of temporarily assembled parts. The composition and execution unfold simultaneously in an improvised performance that is captured and merchandised as a digital asset. The release of the captured moment as digital art and the thrift resold as is with all its flaws and without embellishment on a dedicated Etsy store returns both to the natural ebb and flow of the sublime within the mundane. The resulting work is freely available to proliferate, evolve and take root or be lost forever in a bottomless digital ocean.
